Spooktober #16

Another quick and dirty entry for the competition. Honestly surprised I got thirteen articles done let alone sixteen. When I first saw the prompts I really thought I was going to struggle to get five but here we are. Not sure if I will attempt more but seeing as there is still a few weeks left I will likely do at least one extra.

Still struggling with what setting to press forward with, but that does seem to my major problem and indeed has been for a good few years now. The fact that in this competition I have written more articles for the fantasy setting does suggest I have more of a desire for that one rather than the future solar system one I have been toying with.

Had to hit silver just to say I hit silver. I'm more a bronze person normally, if I even get that high, so its nice to have that little bit of extra motivation.

Hallo all! January's flown by, and has been somewhat unforgiving with all the changes that come with a new year. February is also promising to be difficult, and the red panda is doing his best to hang in there and make it through. As with the prior updates, you can expect his prosiac output to be diminished for the time being, with the hope that at some point this year it'll return to what it once was. With that all being said, we're happy to bring you the releases for the past month - we hope you enjoy them!

So, I have been quiet for a few weeks. First of all, I did not finish SummCamp 2022; I merely did a single prompt, and did not find the inspiration or had the mood to write the others. Certain IRL things also happened that downed my mood further. Honestly, I have not written much at all these last few weeks; I have done some more work on my military train but it goes slow. Although I did work on some other articles during the period when SummerCamp was ongoing, most of which were centered around the Metro system of Niarem. I also did a major update of my city-realm Niarem, and came up with a few new terms that help with descriptions.
  I did, however, make one joke article. A short one, that was actually rather fun to write. A gender-bend potion. With perhaps more negatives than positives, since I did not want to make it too common in my setting. The physical changes it brought forth upon its consumers felt too big in my mind. Its initial power was too great, so I wing clipped it essentially. But, nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it, if you decide to read it. Slipped in a little internet easter egg there too. Comments are appreciated, if possible.
  Another reason why I haven't written anything is that I have been snared by Twitter. I have spent maybe a bit too much time browsing it. Primarily to look at, and comment on artwork I find.
