The day without rain

Once I told you of the story

of when the day and night fell asleep

and in that moment

before the rainfall

came the tale of when time stilled.

In the morning

before the rainfall,

there goes love

that cannot be found

and then I tell you of the story

of when day and night go sleep.

O how far

we are from morning,

when the guiding star comes home.

O how much

we do wonder,

when the day will fade away.

In the moment,

before the rainfall,

there goes love

that will be free from sleep

and then I tell you of the story

of the day without rain.
