The Harpy Eagle’s chick has started flying. Boar Killer decides to show her around their home. She takes her chick to the Harpy crevice and lands on the top. She says to her daughter as they watch their lesser kin “You do not hunt this flock, nor the one on the other side of this valley.”

Her daughter says “Yes mother.”

The Harpy Eagle continues “This flock has accepted us as one of theirs. It is odd for us to be part of a flock, but they are useful to have around and helped me find a mate. You will do well to watch them and hunt with them until you can hunt the prey that I can.”

Her daughter says “Yes mother” and with that, they take off again.

The Harpy Eagle sees her mate making his way back to one of the land dweller’s homes. She and her daughter land near him. He looks at her with surprise when she and their daughter land. The Harpy Eagle says to their daughter “This is your father. We rarely stay close to them. But he has shown much concern for you.” Her daughter then starts approaching him.

Glato is stunned at how big his daughter is. She already stands nearly as tall as him She walks up to him and nuzzles him. He puts an arm around her to hug her. The Harpy Eagle steps up and nuzzles him as well.

Glee and Linee watch the whole scene go down from their house. Glee says to Linee “I think he has found his perfect wife and family.”

Linee says without taking her eyes off Glato “She is as wild and free-spirited as he is.”
