Author's Note

This novella extends Greenglimmer, the second book of the Evenacht serial. The book needed to end where it did, but since that was not quite the end of the story, I wrote this novella.

I originally planned to have these events start Windtwist Isles, but decided the tale would work better as a separate story.

This is not a stand-alone novella. To understand references, I suggest reading Greenglimmer before Bendebares. Things will make more sense.
