Languages: Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character. The Player’s Handbook offers a list of languages to choose from. The DM is free to modify that list for a campaign.
race features:
  • Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colours in that darkness only as shades of grey.
  • Warmth of the Hearth. You give off a comforting heat at as long as you're not exhausted. You have resistance to fire damage.
  • Firewood. You do not need to consume water, but require thrice the amount of daily rations. One piece of firewood counts as a ration for you.
  • Stoke the Flames. You are able to heat metal and ignite wood. As a bonus action, you can infuse your fire into a weapon, or up to six pieces of ammo. When a target is hit by a weapon attack using the infused weapon or ammo, the target takes an additional 1d6 fire damage. The effect lasts for up to 1 minute. You can safely use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, taking a point of exhaustion for each time you exceed this amount. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
  • Resting by the Fire. When finishing a short rest, you can expend a hit die to allow any allies within 10 ft. to use a free additional hit die when restoring hit points.
