{"name":"Letheni","overview":"[p]The Letheni were the second race to be created on Aellorah, emerging in central @[Arak](location:4a13f30c-bf8f-4403-9d65-f884b817fa94) near [i]Mt. Ardreth[\/i] where @[Lys'](person:0b675888-de16-43be-8d57-e74291f31781) @[Wellspring](law:c491cdb3-6c86-462f-a36c-81a3ffc6fdee) resides. This heralded the beginning of the @[Age of Creation](article:5e1c69f3-285e-4d80-850e-205f6950a285), where after @[Aellor's](person:f2b10311-c9e6-4b46-800d-fb26078ef290) success in shepherding the @[Dwarves](species:fdffb1e3-a8b4-4a29-8620-d6fd9b7a38b4), the other @[Seven Sisters](organization:61758995-0918-429c-ad98-caed6bc9b599) began to experiment with life of their own. Curiously, [b]Lys[\/b], the goddess of life, was second to create life on Aellorah.[\/p]\r\n[p]The Letheni are extremely long-lived, and serve to be Aellorah\u2019s living memory. Unlike @[Humans](species:d9a45065-0860-430b-9406-400d7eac75ef), Letheni do not strive to make rapid change. Whereas the Humans have such a relatively short time to live, and must rush to accomplish their goals, the Letheni have several millennia, and are in no hurry. They take their time with tasks and are very meticulous. This clash in intensity of ambition has often put the Letheni at odds with the Humans.[\/p]\r\n[p]Letheni enjoy the natural world, and though modern civilization has brought with it the advent of large cities such as @[Mythwell](settlement:83d9ef68-a576-4936-9ff9-1ea6d6a8b0a7), which are sprawling metropolises filled with stone and wood and smoke \u2013 wherever Letheni can be found, you can be sure nature will be incorporated into the city somehow. They feel stifled when they cannot see all the beauty the natural world has to offer, and they are very fond of flowers. This respect for the natural world makes them great friends to the @[Lynoxi](species:ac28483b-fd62-4e08-b87b-e28a9f9af33e).[\/p]\r\n[p]The Letheni inherited [b]Lys'[\/b] divine domains of [i]Life[\/i] and [i]Temperance[\/i], and one other depending on their subrace.[\/p]","image_id":"6878410","ability_score_increase":"Your Dexterity score increases by 2.","age":"Letheni are exceptionally long-lived, but mature the slowest of all the races of Aellorah, reaching adulthood around 100 years of age.
